Description

You will design, develop, and maintain advanced video applications and services on the RDK Video platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement video playback, streaming, and user-facing applications on the RDK Video platform.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of the RDK Video Component Layered architecture.
• Develop reusable, high-quality, and performant software components.
• Debug and optimize WebKit internals or WPE WebKit for embedded environments.
• Maintain and improve video services within an embedded Linux environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C++ and embedded development.
• Strong proficiency in C and Embedded Development.
• Hands-on experience with RDK Video Component Layered architecture.
• Knowledge of WebKit internals or WPE WebKit.
• Experience with Yocto and embedded Linux.
• Proficiency in Linux system development.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of total working experience in software engineering.
• Experience with complex video streaming protocols.
