Description

You will own the technical delivery of Cerner Millennium implementations, migrations, and optimizations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical requirements into technical and data specifications for EHR systems.
• Design, support, and optimize ETL processes for healthcare data integration.
• Write, execute, and tune CCL scripts in production environments.
• Develop and support services on public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical workflow support.
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL).
• Working knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction patterns.
• Experience with REST/SOA development and healthcare data integrations.
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting services on public cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, or OCI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Cerner Millennium environments.
• Prior experience serving as a senior Cerner consultant or technical lead.
