Description

Architect and manage Azure Gov Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, owning the full lifecycle of cloud data center solutions including computing, networking, routing, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute workload migrations from on-premises VMware environments to Azure Gov Cloud.
• Implement and maintain Azure Gov Cloud tenants, including storage, app services, and BCDR solutions.
• Manage cost optimization through tagging strategies and taxonomy for resource reporting and compliance.
• Design and support hybrid cloud architectures and virtualized computing environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or IT administration.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS) and Azure Gov Cloud.
• Proficiency with Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation).
• Strong experience with Azure Networking, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Site-to-Site VPN, and ExpressRoute.
• Hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, and Identity and Access Management.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Kubernetes and database services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PySpark.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation.
