Description

Lead methodology adoption and process enforcement for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services. You will mentor project managers, define KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across OATS projects.

Responsibilities

• Enforce CHFS OATS methodology and project standards across all cabinet divisions.
• Mentor and train project managers on tools, techniques, and defined processes.
• Define, refine, and track KPIs to measure project and program performance.
• Conduct audits for projects breaching acceptable KPI variances and implement remedial actions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and ad-hoc reports for executive stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Professional Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent advanced degree.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, and developing project management talent.
• Strong understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in data analytics to derive knowledge and establish benchmarks.
• Experience working in high-level collaborative environments with a teamwork focus.

Preferred Skills

• Agile certification from an accredited institution.
• Experience advising on Waterfall and Agile project approaches.
