Drive research and development for computational fluid dynamics solvers and software architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead solver research, software planning, and architectural design for commercial fluid dynamics products.
• Execute complex C++ and Python development, focusing on software design and user experience analysis.
• Conduct bug verification, release testing, and beta support to ensure product stability.
• Research and resolve technical issues identified by QA or product support teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical standards through rigorous code reviews.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and Python for scientific computing and software development.
• Deep understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), fluid behavior, and hydrodynamic numerical methods.
• Familiarity with Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) theory, algorithms, and discretization techniques, specifically incompressible formulations.
• Strong background in software design patterns and commercial development methodologies.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years of experience, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Proven experience in software design and development within commercial environments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of particle-based methods, mesh-free techniques, and parallel computing (OpenMP, CUDA).
• Advanced mathematics skills, including linear algebra, interpolation, differentiation, and integration.
• Experience in large-scale commercial software environments and distributed teams.
