Description

You will own the organization's configuration management infrastructure using CFEngine to ensure system stability and policy compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the CFEngine infrastructure, including servers, hubs, mission portals, and client components.
• Document CFEngine policies and maintain accurate records for all configuration changes.
• Review existing policies to resolve conflicts, eliminate redundancies, and improve resource efficiency.
• Plan and execute rolling upgrade strategies to minimize downtime during large-scale client upgrades.
• Collaborate with system administrators and developers to define requirements and provide technical training.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience specifically with CFEngine.
• Expert-level knowledge of CFEngine Policies and configuration management at scale.
• Proven experience managing CFEngine Server components, including hubs and mission portals.
• Strong ability to design and deliver technical solutions within tight deadlines.
• Excellent technical communication skills for documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• 3-year tenure in previous configuration management roles.
