Description

You will design and execute formalized experiments to identify chaotic situations in large-scale production environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized chaos experiments to validate system resilience.
• Identify, debug, and troubleshoot complex issues within distributed systems.
• Manage and monitor large-scale production environments using observability tools.
• Apply SRE principles including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to ensure stability.
• Use distributed system debugging tools to understand complex architectures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Chaos Studio or similar chaos engineering tools.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks including Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Strong knowledge of Azure public cloud systems.
• Deep understanding of Unix systems, networking, and web technologies.
• Experience managing and debugging large-scale distributed systems and databases.
• Solid grasp of SRE concepts and error budget management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other public cloud platforms beyond Azure.
• Background in site reliability engineering or platform engineering.
