Description

You will design and conduct formalized experiments to identify chaotic situations within large-scale production environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute chaos experiments using tools like Litmus, Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or Chaos Blade.
• Manage, understand, and debug large, complex distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and bugs across the stack.
• Apply SRE principles including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to system stability.
• Monitor system health and performance using logging and observability stacks.

Required Skills

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience in chaos engineering.
• Proficiency with chaos testing tools such as Litmus, Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or Chaos Blade.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong knowledge of Unix systems, web technologies, databases, and networking.
• Experience managing systems in large-scale production environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in Python, Go, or Shell.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, or prior SRE/DevOps roles.
