Description

You will design, implement, and automate Check Point Firewall solutions for mission-critical environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement holistic firewall solutions, including policy automation and threat management.
• Configure and troubleshoot Security Gateway Clusters and Maestro Hyperscale environments.
• Manage Check Point infrastructure, including Rule Base objects, Smart Console, and Gaia system management.
• Automate deployments and orchestration using APIs and Infrastructure as Code.
• Perform system upgrades, install hotfixes, and monitor Management Server states.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security and firewall engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Check Point API architecture for automation and orchestration.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting.
• Deep understanding of Check Point Maestro, including Orchestrators, Security Groups, and Hyperscale technology.
• Experience with Check Point IPS, AV, URL Filtering, and Application Control.
• Knowledge of Check Point Identity Awareness, captive portal, and MFA integration.
• Ability to perform diagnostic troubleshooting via Gaia CLI and monitor traffic flows.
• Experience managing Security Gateway Clusters and Gaia system procedures.
• Familiarity with dual-site environments and management high availability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience installing and configuring Check Point Multi-Domain Security Management (MDSM).
• Ability to implement and manage Global Policy across multiple domains.
