Description

You will own the CI/CD infrastructure for our Java-based applications, ensuring reliable and automated delivery from code commit to production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, implementing pipeline-as-code with Groovy, YAML, and shell scripts.
• Manage automated build, test, and packaging workflows using Maven and Gradle within Linux environments.
• Build and maintain Docker images, supporting container-based build and runtime workflows for application deployments.
• Manage Git/GitHub workflows, including branching strategies and pull requests, while maintaining non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, assist developers with deployment challenges, and document processes and runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
• Strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience deploying to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of Java build processes and containerization with Docker.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience working in Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Exposure to Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions.
