Description

You will act as a subject matter expert for CICS transaction server environments, managing releases, upgrades, and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement releases, upgrades, and changes to CICS and ISV products.
• Execute P2V, V2V, and P2P migrations for CICS transaction servers.
• Diagnose CICS system and related product issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations with engineering teams to support production stability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in CICS systems programming.
• Proficiency with z/OS and Unix System Services.
• Hands-on experience with SMP/E, REXX, Java, and VSAM.
• Technical expertise in upgrading and supporting IBM and ISV products.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of Assembler, COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
