Description

You will manage and operate network security systems with a primary focus on Cisco Firepower technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and operate Cisco FTD sensors and FMC consoles.
• Manage Network Access Control using dot1x and Cisco ISE.
• Implement certificate-based authentication and Virtual Private Networks.
• Perform PCAP analysis and lead security engineering projects.
• Support malware detection, data encryption, and web content filtering systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of recent experience with Cisco FTD and FMC.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower sensors and NGFW/NGIPS.
• Proficiency in Cisco ISE and dot1x Network Access Control.
• Experience with certificate-based authentication and VPNs.
• Ability to perform PCAP analysis for network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security event logging and monitoring systems.
• Experience with email spam filters and content inspection.

Preferred Skills

• Must be local to Cincinnati and work onsite 3 days per week.
