Description

You will maintain and secure wired and wireless data communications networks within a NOC environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy Cisco switches and access points.
• Troubleshoot wireless and network issues to prevent downtime and resolve Service Desk escalations.
• Manage firewalls and other network security protections.
• Conduct site surveys and develop plans to resolve consistent wireless network problems.
• Document system maintenance, disaster recovery plans, and technical project findings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a network engineer role.
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and wireless networking.
• Expertise in managing, controlling, and monitoring Wi-Fi network infrastructures.
• Experience with Cisco wireless LAN controllers, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Cisco switches and wireless network equipment.
• Ability to set up and configure network devices such as access points.
• Strong research and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Availability to work evening, overnight, and weekend hours as required.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco training and certifications, such as CCNP.
• CWNA training and certification.
