You will own the design, implementation, and management of global voice systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
Responsibilities
Architect and configure voice systems, including Cisco Call Manager clusters, Cisco Emergency Responder, and Unity voicemail, following security best practices.
Collaborate with LAN and WAN teams to optimize VoIP system performance.
Provide high-level support for voice issues and mentor tier 1 technicians to resolve tickets.
Monitor VoIP systems proactively to mitigate issues and implement disaster recovery plans.
Execute projects within required timeframes and follow change management procedures to prevent production outages.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco voice environments.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco Call Manager.
Experience with Cisco Voice Gateways, Analog routers, and CUBE.
Hands-on experience with SIP trunking and 3rd party service providers.
Ability to build Bills of Materials (BOM) for replacement equipment.
Proficiency in creating network diagrams and call flows using Microsoft Visio.
Bachelor's degree required.
Availability to work off-hours for scheduled upgrades and maintenance.
