Description

Own production processes, continuous delivery, infrastructure automation, and high availability for a SaaS platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual procedures and evolve cloud infrastructure to improve resilience, scalability, and security.
• Partner with engineering teams to standardize infrastructure setup, tooling, and deployment processes.
• Build and maintain safe deployment procedures for new product changes across multiple environments.
• Develop SaaS monitoring solutions that detect and automatically remediate system faults.
• Lead and participate in an on-call rotation to resolve infrastructure-related concerns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience handling builds, releases, and deployments in a SaaS environment with strict SLAs.
• Extensive experience running production software in AWS.
• Strong expertise in Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet for SaaS deployment and upgrades.
• Ability to configure and maintain continuous delivery environments using Jenkins, Grafana, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Python, or shell scripting.
• Experience debugging and fixing issues in distributed environments.
• Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers.
