Description

You will serve as the technical lead for the Cisco Unified Communication Platform upgrade from version 11.5 to R14.5.

Responsibilities

• Lead the system deployment of VOIP upgrades, including ISO installation and server migration from M4 to M6 via PCD.
• Upgrade Publisher, Subscriber nodes, Unity, and associated Cisco servers.
• Execute cluster-wide Readiness Upgrade task flows and Precheck COP files.
• Implement enhanced security functionality and harden systems to meet industry standards.
• Perform system testing, validation, and environment tuning to ensure high performance.

Required Skills

• Experience designing, installing, and configuring large-scale voice communications hardware and software.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, QSIG, SIP, H323, MGCP, and SCCP.
• Expertise configuring voice gateways with dial peers, SRST, SIP, H323, and MGCP protocols.
• Proficiency in VOIP encryption using SIP over TLS and Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP).
• Strong understanding of firewall policies, stateful connections, and network security best practices.
• Experience working within a VMware virtual environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex telephony environments.
• Required CCNA certification.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP certification.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, or PCI compliance guidelines.
