Description

You will serve as the technical lead for upgrading the Cisco Unified Communication Platform from version 11.5 to R14.5.

Responsibilities

• Lead system deployment and VOIP upgrades, including migrating servers from M4 to M6 via PCD.
• Upgrade Publisher, Subscriber nodes, Unity, and associated Cisco servers.
• Execute cluster-wide Readiness Upgrade task flows and run Precheck COP files.
• Test, validate, and tune the environment to ensure high performance and system hardening.
• Provide post-deployment operational support, system documentation, and training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, installing, and configuring large-scale voice communications hardware and software.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communication platforms and server migrations.
• Proficiency with networking protocols: TCP/IP, QSIG, SIP, H323, MGCP, and SCCP.
• Experience configuring voice gateways including dial peers, SRST, SIP, H323, and MGCP.
• Practical experience working in a VMware virtual environment.
• Active CCNA certification is required.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP certification.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, or PCI compliance guidelines.
