Description

You will design, implement, and manage complex Cisco wireless network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review, redesign, and implement wireless network solutions including RF planning and AP placement.
• Conduct RF surveys, analyze propagation models, and optimize coverage and capacity.
• Diagnose and resolve wireless network issues related to RF interference, channel utilization, and roaming.
• Implement mobility features such as load balancing and roaming to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Manage wireless security compliance, including WPA/WPA2/WPA3 encryption and guest access.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, support, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless network engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points (APs).
• Proficiency with IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Experience with Cisco DNA Center for network automation and orchestration.
• Hands-on expertise with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and RADIUS protocols.
• Proficiency using Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Wireshark.
• Ability to maintain technical documentation for network configurations and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• CCNP Wireless certification.

Preferred Skills

• CWNP certifications (e.g., CWAP, CWSP).
