Description

You manage and support the Citrix infrastructure, ensuring stability for virtual app and desktop environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain Citrix XenApp 6.5/7.x, XenDesktop, NetScaler, MCS, and UPM.
• Manage Citrix farm operations, including session management, application publishing, and log monitoring.
• Troubleshoot NetScaler issues, perform firmware upgrades, and manage load balancing virtual servers.
• Monitor server health, apply patches, and coordinate environment deployments and upgrades.
• Resolve P0-P2 incidents autonomously, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Citrix Systems administration.
• Hands-on expertise with VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, or XenServer hypervisors.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Terminal Server (RDS), DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and Windows 10.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools: SCOM, BEM, Zabbix, and Citrix Director.
• Familiarity with Ivanti User Workspace Manager and SCCM for deployment.
• Ability to script and automate recurring manual tasks.
• Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting L1/L2 teams and managing stakeholder communications during critical outages.
• Background in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
