Description

You will act as a technical subject matter expert for the design, implementation, and deployment of Windows-based desktop and server environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) architecture and virtualized application delivery.
• Administer, monitor, and update Citrix DaaS and all associated VDAs.
• Architect Citrix environments within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Resolve complex problems regarding virtual servers, virtual desktops, storage, and disaster recovery.
• Develop administrative and end-user documentation and perform knowledge transfer as required.
• Deploy and secure thin client technology, such as IGEL, to consume Citrix DaaS services.

Required Skills

• 10 years of overall experience in Citrix environments.
• 5 years of recent experience with Citrix Workspace and CVAD architecture.
• 3 years of experience architecting Citrix within AWS.
• Expertise in load balancing, Storage Area Network (SAN), clustering, and high availability configurations.
• Experience with Citrix DaaS and VDA maintenance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard desktop applications.
• Ability to manage desktop and application implementations, upgrades, and system testing.
