Description

Architect, manage, and maintain large-scale Citrix server farms and virtual desktop environments in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Own Citrix design, performance tuning, patching, lifecycle upgrades, and troubleshooting for XenApp and XenDesktop.
• Manage Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), StoreFront, and NetScaler Gateway/Load Balancing/GSLB.
• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and manage routine maintenance for Citrix services.
• Execute gold image creation for MCS/PVS vDisks and manage Windows Roaming Profiles and Workspace Environment Management.
• Monitor system health via SCOM and Stratusphere, drive capacity management, disaster recovery testing, and security policy implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Citrix administration and architecture.
• Deep expertise in XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps, and Citrix Virtual Desktops.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix and VMware environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for task automation.
• Strong understanding of application publishing, App-V streaming, and MSIX containerization.
• Experience managing Windows Server, vSphere, and Advanced Group Policy Management.
• Technical proficiency with SCOM and ServiceNow.
• Solid grasp of CFS/ITIL processes and disaster recovery planning.

Preferred Skills

• Competency in Project Management, Data Analysis, and Project Delivery.
