Description

You will originate and verify complex civil deliverables, including specifications, drawings, reports, and calculations for heavy industrial site development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve in-house standards, specifications, and templates.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on civil considerations for project design, construction permits, and technical support.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and government officials to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Define scopes of work for third-party engineers and integrate vendor information into design solutions.
• Identify risks impacting timelines and budget while independently planning and scheduling deliverables.

Required Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering or Site Development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Revit.
• Experience with hydrology and stormwater management software.
• Deep knowledge of AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, TCEQ, and WBDG UFC codes.
• Ability to execute detailed design drawings for complex civil site systems.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, details, and techniques.
• Experience managing medium to large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with wastewater and process water management plans.
• Knowledge of technical responsibilities for other engineering disciplines in Facilities Design.
