Description

You will own the civil design and permitting process for high-complexity heavy industrial facilities, ensuring technical rigor and regulatory compliance. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review civil deliverables, including specifications, drawings, reports, and calculations for site development.
• Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on civil considerations for project design, construction permits, and technical support.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and government officials to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Define scopes of work for third-party engineers and integrate vendor information into the design solution.
• Conduct constructability reviews, identify risks, and coordinate with other disciplines to provide cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil engineering or Site Development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Revit.
• Experience with hydrology/stormwater management software.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, TCEQ, and WBDG UFC codes.
• Ability to independently execute detailed design drawings of high complexity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) and wastewater management.
• Familiarity with construction materials, details, and techniques for heavy industrial facilities.
