Description

You will lead and support engineering design efforts for multimodal transportation infrastructure projects, preparing designs, studies, reports, and verifying project compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering design details, specifications, contract drawings, and estimates.
• Prepare engineering designs, studies, and reports for transportation infrastructure.
• Participate in presentations, field inspections, and research.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior staff.
• Stay current on roadway design trends and methodologies.

Required Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 5 years of highway design experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation CADD software for plans, profiles, cross-sections, and quantity take-offs.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and developing 3D engineered models.
• Experience with VDOT or other Virginia localities.
• Roadway design expertise.

• Experience with multimodal transportation projects.
