Description

You will execute civil site and land development design, permitting, and construction observation for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Responsibilities

• Design land development projects using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare technical design calculations for storm drainage hydraulic sizing, water distribution modeling, BMPs, sanitary sewer collection, and erosion control.
• Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations, including quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.
• Perform site visits, prepare field reports, and coordinate field testing such as water pressure, gravity sewer low pressure, and manhole vacuum testing.
• Collaborate with a small team to manage project workflows from design through construction observation.

Required Skills

• EI/EIT certification.
• 2-6 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSCE) or Engineering Technology (BSCET).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Satisfactory driving record (MVR).
