Description

You will perform civil and structural design for chemical and oil & gas plants, managing deliverables from initial site visits through to detailed engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits in refinery and chemical plants to collect inputs and prepare reports.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis using STAAD.Pro.
• Prepare and review all C&S design deliverables independently in compliance with quality systems.
• Resolve construction feedback and RFI issues related to issued deliverables.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to perform interdisciplinary checks (IDC) and manage interfaces.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in civil and structural design within the O&G or chemical plant domain.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of British, Singapore, Eurocode, API, and ASCE/ACI codes and standards.
• Experience with Green and Brown field projects.
• Ability to manage construction sequence, access, and egress requirements.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with 3D modelling in SP3D, PDMS, Microstation, or NAVIS Works.
• Experience participating in Model Review and Squad Check processes.
• Experience working on international projects and with international clients.
