Description

You will manage civil and structural installations, commissioning activities, and construction administration for industrial facilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structural installations including foundations and steel erection.
• Review product submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, and contractor RFIs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for equipment testing, delivery, installation, and handover.
• Oversee contractor adherence to project delivery methods, schedule milestones, and safety requirements.
• Conduct continuous work progress inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a multi-discipline background (civil, electrical, etc.).
• 5-10 years of professional experience.
• 5+ years in civil and/or structural design.
• 2+ years in construction management.
• Experience in design criteria development for civil and structural systems.
• Automotive experience with engine, transmission, vehicle facilities, or similar industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, ASME, AMCAs, ARI, AWS, ASHRAA, and FM standards.
• Expertise in OSHA requirements, including Lock-Out, Electrical Safe Work Practices, and arc flash safety.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or AutoDesk Build.
• Multi-discipline background and Kanban experience.
