Description

You will provide administrative and technical support within a specialized agency area, exercising independent judgment to manage records and departmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, update files, and maintain reference and resource materials.
• Generate periodic statistical, informational, and work activity reports.
• Perform data entry and manage information using Excel to track various processes.
• Organize office files, sort mail, and direct incoming correspondence to appropriate staff.
• Take notes during meetings and prepare necessary information for participants.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in administrative or clerical assistant roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of office administration functions and computer procedures.
• Ability to apply department policies, programs, and agency regulations to specific cases.
• Strong ability to prioritize work and maintain high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with agency personnel and the public.
• Capability to trace required information through available records and resources.
• Experience establishing cooperative work relationships and providing customer service.

Preferred Skills

• Experience serving as a team lead for an assigned work group.
