Description

Manage end-to-end configuration and maintenance of instrument interfaces within the Sunquest LIS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure instrument interfaces using Data Innovations (DI) or direct Sunquest integration.
• Build new tests and migrate existing tests into the system with a focus on automation.
• Monitor instrument and interface error logs to ensure continuous uptime.
• Own the full rollout process once a build package is provided, including event flagging and client notifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in LIS analysis or a related clinical laboratory role.
• Direct experience with Sunquest instrument interface setup.
• Hands-on experience with Data Innovations (DI).
• Proficiency in HL7 troubleshooting.
• Expertise in configuring reference flags and notification logic.
• Ability to manage complex instrument event flagging and client notifications.
• Proven track record of automating tests within a laboratory information system.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing reference flag interfaces, including calculations for reference ranges and hematology department requirements.
