Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance Linux kernel-mode network device drivers for switching and embedded networking platforms.
• Develop and troubleshoot software supporting Cisco LAN switch functionality and network device components.
• Integrate and debug hardware interfaces including PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, and DMA controller interfaces.
• Investigate issues involving platform drivers, networking subsystems, PHY transceivers, and PoE hardware.
• Use Git and low-level debugging tools to diagnose defects, validate fixes, and maintain reliable source code changes.

Skills Required:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in embedded Linux, networking software, device drivers, or switching platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco LAN switches and strong networking fundamentals.
• Experience developing or maintaining Linux kernel-mode network device drivers.
• Working knowledge of platform drivers, Linux networking subsystems, and hardware-software integration.
• Experience with hardware interfaces such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, or DMA controllers.

Good to Have:

• Strong C programming and data structures knowledge.
• Experience with PoE or PHY transceiver technologies.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
