Description
You will manage and modernize cloud infrastructure using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Kubernetes, EKS, and Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure on cloud platforms.
- Manage clusters via CLI and web consoles, including application deployment using container images and manifests.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity for applications inside and outside cluster environments.
- Refactor legacy workloads into microservices and APIs for cloud-native architectures.
- Automate dynamic cloud infrastructure provisioning using Python and Ansible scripting.
- Secure Kubernetes workloads and manage storage for high availability and reliability.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications using microservices architecture.
- Advanced hands-on experience installing, upgrading, and maintaining OpenShift in multi-mode clusters.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AKS, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure development and YAML/JSON deployment templates.
- Hands-on experience applying DevOps, DevSecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering principles.
- Strong Python and Ansible scripting skills for automation.
- Expertise in legacy modernization, code refactoring, and converting workloads to containerized environments.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to perform system administration outside normal business hours, including weekends for maintenance.
