Description

You will manage production support and cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1, L2, and L3 production support for SQL Server versions 2005 through 2019.
• Install, configure, and manage SQL Server instances while optimizing query performance using Performance Monitor and SQL Profiler.
• Execute data migrations using Azure Database Migration Services (ADMS) and manage backups and recovery in Azure and AWS.
• Implement and manage Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and cloud monitoring tools.
• Configure IAM roles, policies, SSL/TLS encryption, and network security groups to ensure environment security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud and database administration.
• Proficiency with SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2016, 2019).
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of Zabbix and New Relic for monitoring.
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor and AWS CloudWatch.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to resolve deadlocks and implement permanent fixes for disk space and root cause issues.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies including geo-replication and failover.
