Description

You will design, build, and manage cloud-native APIs and infrastructure within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage AWS API Gateway, S3 storage models, and SSM Secrets/Parameter Store.
• Design, manage, and diagnose IAM policies, permissions, and SSE-KMS keys.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Python3 following functional and object-oriented paradigms.
• Provision and troubleshoot infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
• Incorporate Swagger (OpenAPI) specifications up to version 3.0.2 into API development.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience developing RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway or Kong.
• 5-8 years of experience in Python3 development (functional and object-oriented).
• Expertise in AWS resources and environment management.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Terraform Cloud (TFC) for IaC and deployment troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of managing SSE-KMS keys via Terraform Cloud.
• Understanding of RDS server/cluster data impacts specifically regarding PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor's degree.
