Description

Implement and maintain Enterprise API and Integration platforms, focusing on hybrid infrastructure architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and upgrade APIGEE Hybrid on AKS and APIGEE X using existing automation scripts.
• Enhance automation scripts in Terraform, Python, and Ansible to support platform upgrades.
• Support AKS cluster upgrades and perform periodic capacity planning for infrastructure expansion.
• Monitor, alert, and troubleshoot APIs and underlying infrastructure issues for APIGEE Hybrid/X.
• Collaborate with architects on API design, implementation, testing, and production deployment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years hands-on experience with Enterprise API Management platforms, specifically APIGEE Hybrid and Apigee X.
• Proficient in Terraform, Python, and Ansible for infrastructure automation and script enhancement.
• Strong cloud engineering experience across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, including infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS) for application deployment, scaling, and management.
• Solid understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSO implementation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Apigee and tools like Postman or JMeter.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with source control tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Google Professional Cloud Architect or Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Terraform certification.
