Description

Lead technology frameworks and technical direction for cloud modernization and vulnerability reduction. You will define reference architectures and design patterns to support application modernization across AWS native and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud reference architectures for native and hybrid solutions using AWS.
• Develop a library of documented, deployable cloud design patterns for application modernization.
• Define optimal patterns for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to translate security requirements into actionable tasks for developers and infrastructure teams.
• Evaluate architectural alternatives across private, public, and hybrid models including SaaS and PaaS.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience designing large and complex IT operations within large organizations.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, including serverless, authentication, authorization, and API design.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar DevOps tooling.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with automation for Checkmarx, SonarQube, and NPM audit.
• Technical expertise in API design and SQL.
• Proven ability to lead technical decision-making by articulating pros, cons, and research-backed options to leadership.
