Description

Lead cloud modernization and vulnerability reduction through technical leadership and framework design.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design native and hybrid cloud systems prioritizing performance, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Provide end-to-end AWS reference architectures as the technical subject matter expert.
• Develop and document cloud design patterns to support application portfolio modernization.
• Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code for cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive technical direction across complex IT operations.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in IT operations and large-scale system design.
• Deep knowledge of AWS architecture, including serverless, authentication, authorization, and API design.
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with automated security tooling (Checkmarx, SonarQube, NPM audit).
• Proven ability to design complex, large-scale IT environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving vulnerability reduction initiatives in enterprise environments.
