Description

Lead end-to-end migration of applications from PCF/TAS/TKGI environments to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead application migrations using RedHat MTA and Konveyor Move2Kube.
• Assess application architecture, dependencies, and runtime configurations to define migration approaches.
• Refactor and containerize applications for compatibility and performance on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation solutions including scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure configurations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to runtime environments, networking, storage, and performance within Kubernetes clusters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying applications in Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Proven experience migrating applications from PCF/TAS/TKGI to OpenShift or Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, or Harness.
• Strong knowledge of OCP, Helm, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• OpenShift or Kubernetes certification such as CKAD or CKA.
