Description

You will design and oversee hybrid cloud platform architecture, owning product design documentation and architectural governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern best practices within a Cloud Center of Excellence for platform engineering and cloud-native development.
• Partner with Information Security to engineer secure application patterns and integrate security into cloud platforms.
• Drive architecture review board discussions and develop platform architecture artifacts.
• Maintain blueprints and reference implementations for cloud products.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud design decisions, standards, and operational practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years delivering large-scale distributed enterprise platforms focused on scale, security, and reliability.
• Expertise in DevOps and GitOps models using Infrastructure-as-Code, Config-as-Code, and Policy-as-Code with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises Private Cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of web protocols, Linux/Windows operating systems, and cloud APIs.
• Experience with native CSP orchestration stacks such as Azure ARM templates, AWS CloudFormation, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Proficiency with container-native technologies including Kubernetes and container-native virtualization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins, pipelines, and container repositories.
• Competency in infrastructure automation and programming using Ansible, Java, or Python.
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one area: Cloud IAM, network/security design, IaaS design (Packer), native services (CosmosDB, BigTable), or Kubernetes services (AKS, GKE, EKS).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift and configuration management tools like Puppet or Salt.
• Experience with cloud-native logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Prometheus.
