Description

You will design and execute cloud migration strategies and target state architectures, primarily focused on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design target landing platform architectures and define migration patterns including re-host, re-platform, and re-factor.
• Consult with clients to propose architectural solutions for moving on-premises infrastructure to the cloud or optimizing multi-cloud spend.
• Lead technical reviews of requirements, designs, code, and scripts to ensure IT standards and methodology are met.
• Advise customers on security best practices, including access management, network setup, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive GCP migrations by applying cloud assessment methodologies and mapping attributes to migration decision trees.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years specifically as a Cloud Architect on GCP.
• Extensive experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• 4-5 years of experience in application re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-factoring.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Anthos.
• Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or JFrog.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration including Docker and GKE.
• Experience with cloud networking, including security groups, policies, load balancers, and application gateways.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible, Python, JSON, and cloud automation.
