Description

Architect, build, and operationalize greenfield cloud environments on Azure and AWS, leading large-scale migrations and hybrid transformations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise landing zones, governance, security, networking, and cost-optimization frameworks.
• Lead production cloud environment builds from scratch, managing IaaS, PaaS, containers, and serverless components.
• Translate complex technical solutions into clear recommendations for CXOs, presenting architecture roadmaps, risk assessments, and TCO/ROI analysis.
• Mentor engineering teams while maintaining final accountability for solution quality and delivery.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in infrastructure engineering with strong on-premises data center roots (VMware, storage arrays, enterprise networking).
• Expert-level hands-on experience in both Azure and AWS (minimum 5 years public cloud).
• Proven ability to build production cloud environments from scratch, not just manage inherited ones.
• Experience conducting TCO/ROI analysis for infrastructure choices.
• Ability to articulate trade-offs, risks, and long-term implications to senior leadership.
