Description

You will design and architect enterprise applications on Microsoft Azure, managing hybrid multi-cloud platforms and leading migrations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SOA and web services using SOAP and RESTful architectures.
• Lead the migration of enterprise applications to Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Manage cloud resources through command-line tools, consoles, and portals.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning for .NET applications.
• Drive technical engagement with sales and customers to provide solution designs.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in an architect role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and migrations.
• Expert-level proficiency in .NET platforms.
• Experience managing hybrid multi-cloud platforms using Scalr or RightScale.
• Proficiency in Web Services, RESTful APIs, and SOA.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, UML, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with Linux/Unix or Windows environments.
• Competency in PowerShell or Unix shell scripting.
• Understanding of application-level cloud security and network security basics.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications.
• Pre-sales experience.
