Description

Lead engineering teams while remaining hands-on with Kubernetes and Kafka to drive cloud platform results.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, and scale diverse teams of engineers and managers.
• Build a reliable, scalable, and secure technology stack using industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to drive cloud platform performance and security.
• Remove technical and organizational roadblocks to increase team velocity.
• Communicate technical commitments and strategy across all levels of the organization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and large-scale computing solutions.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams and developing technical talent.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, including platform and core services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Practical experience with Kafka.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, firewalls, and secure gateways.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and automation pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced cloud strategic capability and modern cloud design.
• Deep understanding of advanced security segmentation and controls.
