Description

You will design and lead the architecture of complex Azure-based solutions focused on scalability, security, and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native architectures including microservices, containers, and serverless environments.
• Create reference architectures, solution blueprints, and cloud adoption roadmaps.
• Execute migrations from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
• Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks and security policies using Azure Policy and Blueprints.
• Serve as a technical advisor to engineering teams and review detailed architectural designs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in IT with at least 4 years specifically in Azure cloud architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, VPNs, Firewalls).
• Deep knowledge of Identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containers and serverless technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Practical application of cloud security frameworks like Zero Trust, NIST, or CIS.
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
