Description

You will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS while ensuring platform security and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the IRAP platform by resolving vulnerabilities, performing version upgrades, and executing monthly maintenance including patching and Gold AMI updates.
• Manage security monitoring to maintain ATO and perform activities required to update the ATO for hosting restricted datasets.
• Develop cloud infrastructure using Terraform and deploy to production following comprehensive testing.
• Optimize AWS resource consumption through rightsizing, reengineering, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Handle user administration, including onboarding, provisioning, and resolving user inquiries.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
• 7 years of experience in system administration, including patching and maintaining Windows and Linux servers.
• 3 years of experience building AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• 3 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• 5 years of experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of FISMA security review and the ATO process.
• Ability to analyze complex software systems to isolate defects, assess risk, and understand customer deployments.
• Experience monitoring cloud resource consumption and managing external dependencies for platform enhancements.
