Description

You will design, build, and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring platform stability and compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the IRAP platform by resolving vulnerabilities, performing version upgrades, and executing monthly maintenance including patching and Gold AMI updates.
• Manage security monitoring to maintain ATO status and perform activities required for hosting restricted datasets.
• Develop cloud infrastructure using Terraform and deploy to production following comprehensive testing.
• Optimize AWS resource consumption through rightsizing, reengineering, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in system administration, including patching and maintaining Windows and Linux servers.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience building AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• 5+ years of experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of FISMA security review and the ATO process.
• Ability to analyze complex software systems to isolate defects, assess risk, and understand customer deployments.
