Cloud Architect

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design AWS cloud architectures and develop detailed architectural blueprints and documentation.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform to automate deployment processes.
• Design security frameworks including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
• Manage AWS database services including RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift with robust backup and recovery strategies.
• Lead technical teams by providing mentorship, conducting reviews, and driving cloud strategy.

Required Skills

• 15-18 years of experience in IT architecture with a focus on AWS cloud solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with DynamoDB and Redshift.
• Experience building and integrating CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and security groups.
• Proven track record of leading cloud transformation projects.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification.
