Description

You will provide technical leadership and mentorship for complex data solutions on AWS, owning the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using cloud-native technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows using Jenkins.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on AWS.
• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer or Subject Matter Expert.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Redshift, Glue, and EMR.
• Experience managing data on Linux platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps methodologies and principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis.
• AWS Certifications such as Data Analytics Specialty or Solutions Architect.
