Description

You will design and manage scalable, secure data streaming infrastructures using Confluent Cloud and Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-performance data streaming infrastructure with Confluent Cloud and Apache Kafka.
• Integrate Confluent Cloud with Azure, GCP, or AWS and enterprise applications.
• Manage cloud services including storage, servers, and networks to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Implement cloud security requirements and guide DevOps and site reliability engineering efforts.
• Estimate and plan resource allocation for specific modules.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience, including at least 2 years as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Expertise in tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kafka clusters using Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Proficiency in automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm/Draft.
• Strong knowledge of IT security, including identity and access management, encryption, and certificate/key management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking, compute, storage, and containers.
• Proficiency in Python and open-source tools for continuous deployment.
• Experience with data governance and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Confluent Certified Administrator/Developer or equivalent certification.

Preferred Skills

• Azure, GCP, or AWS certification.
