Description

Design and implement cloud architecture and strategy for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define cloud standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including on-premises to cloud transitions.
  • Design secure data pipelines and integration patterns supporting BI and analytics workloads using Tableau and Informatica.
  • Implement IAM, network security, encryption, and monitoring to ensure compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Mentor junior architects and provide architectural guidance and solution blueprints to stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, BI architectures, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with ETL & BI Tools like Tableau and Informatica.
  • Experience with SQL and cloud-native databases.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
  • Experienced in LLM integration and basic understanding of AI from an infrastructure perspective.
  • Experienced in FinOps.

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud analytics platforms.
