Design and oversee the architecture of customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design technical architectures and customer-facing applications.
• Run technical projects from inception to completion.
• Write technical documentation, including scopes of work, software requirements, and estimates.
• Analyze data and plan system implementations independently.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and SQL.
• Experience with EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, and Docker.
• Working knowledge of ActiveMQ, RDS/Postgres, Firebase, and Sentry.
• Experience with GitHub and GitLab.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend experience with React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of React Native, Mapbox, or ESRI.
• Domain expertise in railroad operations or GIS/location-based data systems.
